On 11.11.11.  WEIGUO SOLUTIONS relocated to the Zhuhai Free Trade Zone and created a new, Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprise (WOFE)

The new space (4,000 sqm) increases office capacity (up to 50staff) plus warehouse and custom packaging processing space – including Laser Beams!

WEIGUO leases a portion of the facility (2 floors for 60 months) with the option to increase and/or purchase the facility over the next 10 years.

As established industry leaders, we are active members of our local and global business communities, engaging with local factories, providing training seminars and hosting conferences.  We are expecting to bring new energy to the Zhuhai FTZ

Strategically located in the heart of Zhuhai Free Trade Zone (FTZ) adjacent to the Shizimen business district (the future CBD of Zhuhai) and Hengqin Island (the third Special Economic Zone in China), WEIGUO SOLUTIONS is a 15-minute drive from the Zhuhai city center and a 5-minute drive from Macau SAR. The completion of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is expected to shorten the travel distance between Hong Kong and Zhuhai to 30 minutes. The travel time between Zhuhai and Shenzhen will also be reduced to less than an hour.

WEIGUO SOLUTIONS' Free Trade Zone Facility is well connected with other parts of China, leveraging the city’s well established road network and the five key regional highways (Jingzhu highway, Western coastal highway, Guangao highway, 105 state road and Jiangzhu highway). The development of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai freight railway will further strengthen the role of Zhuhai as the logistics hub of the western PRD.

WEIGUO SOLUTIONS' Free Trade Zone Facility has good access to numerous regional sea and air transportation infrastructure facilities and is within an hour drive from six cargo terminals and two airports. Jiahua container terminal, an on-site cargo port located within the Zhuhai FTZ opened on 30 August 2010. Till then, Xiyu Port, located outside of the FTZ, was the main cargo port supporting daily freight operations between Hong Kong and Zhuhai.

The launch of the on-site cargo port further reduces the transportation time and cost between the two cities and greatly enhances the international competitiveness of Zhuhai FTZ. The border now operates seven days a week, up from five previously. Combined with the preferential arrangement of the "consolidated customs declaration and partial shipments”, logistics operators may now enjoy enhanced clearance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

WEIGUO SOLUTIONS' Free Trade Zone Facility is 10km and 30km from the Macau International Airport and Zhuhai Airport respectively. Such proximity will promote the project to become an international air cargo trans-shipment bonded facility. With the development of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge, there will be a direct access from Hong Kong Airport to the project site of 40 minutes by car. Given the increase in the catchment area by linking Hong Kong, Macau and western PRD, WEIGUO SOLUTIONS' Free Trade Zone Facility is well poised to become a leading logistics platform.
